RyanRosier
Really quick question, forgive me for not knowing this in case it's super simple. But there are 2 Gain Controls on my Punch 150, do I have to set these both equally? My amp is bridged btw. 2003 Chevy Silverado Reg Cab. Wicks
Disconnect the speaker wires and do each channel separately. They "should" both end up in similar positions but not necessary due to the tolerances of each channel. Once set separately, then bridge the load and off you go. If the settings are significantly different then it may be worth having somebody analyze the amp for issues. Wicks
Yep those are boost settings. I'd leave those alone with today's music. Back in the day music was recorded much lower and they helped impact the sound. Nowadays they'll just add to clipping. Use cautiously. Wicks
The Bass Boost and Treble boost, are stuck rock solid. Is there any way to get these to turn?? Could try something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Max-Professional-4125-Electronics-Lubricant/dp/B0030MPJ8S Can you tell which way they're stuck? Might have to meter them. If they won't budge then they'll probly need to be replaced unless they are set where you want them... I just broke them free, seemed as the original lube had hardened but a slow and forceful twist got them free and are fully functioning! And does CL mean clearence? If so, yeah these are the one I picked up a couple days ago. 2003 Chevy Silverado Reg Cab. Rockford Fosgate 500a2 and Kicker ZR240 each on their own 12" Kicker Comp S.
