Help with H/O alternator problems

Ok. The more information you give means the more we can help. The questions I asked will help to narrow down where the issue might be. I need you to answer more than just one of the questions I asked in order for me and others to have a better idea of what's going on. So, once again, have you measured voltage directly on the alternator's connection post where you connect your battery?

Did you use the stock wiring harness for the alternator? Or did you have to have an adapter plug/harness made for your application?
