Trunk...Fully sealed vs. firing forward/port driver's side...

i used a prefab, hella cheap and simple sub doesnt have to be good either 50 dollar pioneer or kenwood will work for the purpose of tuning

I honestly feel like when you take the time and do the little things like that you wont have this gut feeling your system can get louder... you know you need to upgrade parts and not the enclosure or design.

I had a 4th order bandpass in my 1987 honda prelude, the car was capable of 142.5 sealed up on an audio control mic, the windows down however would ring my ears, I designed the system to peak at 40hz which was low bass back in 96, lol

to this day, I have not had a car that could carry outside the vehicle like that. I used to drive down the strip in reno and the casino windows, awnings, and neon lights sounded like they would explode. My car now hits a 156.8 opened up and I cant get it anywhere near the outside effect of the prelude. Too be honest I have done about 200 cars since then and none come close to that system outside the vehicle output. it was only two soundstream spl 160's and 1 reference 1000. it was a complete trunk build with ports firing through rear deck. I worked at a coffee shop and saved all summer for that build. I actually have photos from it I will post.
