Jduncan15 Posted January 7, 2016 Report Posted January 7, 2016 I have a subwoofer box that fits my sub well however I inow some people use all sorts of insulating to achieve even deeper bass response well so I'm told... Do any of you recommend using anything inside the box ?
ckeeler11 Posted January 7, 2016 Report Posted January 7, 2016 Polyfil is usually added to make the box seem bigger. So it depends on your box. It is cheap to buy at Walmart so could not hurt to give it a shot.

I even put one on the scale and it weighs 17oz's... you can fluff it up and just put the whole pillow in the bottom of the box.... if you dont like the sound well you have a new pillow... if you do like the sound staple it to the bottom of the box "do not open the pillow"

I found an ass load in this one box (it was way too much) and the one sub was blown the other on its way out. I assume poly fill is the best way to go for cheap?
