Im having a buzzing noise coming from my highs and it gets louder when i push the gas i made sure my power wire is not touching my rca wires i have a coustic amp pushing my doors and a db drive pro pushing my outside highs how do i get rid of this buzz. also it feeds through a clarion eq

what headunit you running and does it do this all the time when the engine is running.... if it does this without the EQ then they usualy get worse when you add an EQ..... sometimes its just the HU that is noisy and it cant be fixed... my old HU had a horrible whine and I fainally gave up on it and added an inline filter.. I now have a x4800bs and its gone

So both amps, the eq, and your headunit are all ground to the same location? I'd try bypassing the eq and then seeing if the noise is coming out of both amps our just one. If no noise then it's most likely the eq, if both amps then it's your headunit, if only one amp then there's your issue.

my head unit is ground through harness and the amps are all ground to same location but eq is not i will try grounding it to with the amps because the whine gets worse as you push the gas pedal but if i turn the eq volume knob down or just shut them all off with the kill switch then it does not whine
