Triticum Agricolam
Any particular reason you want series tuned vs parallel tuned? nocturnalrites101
hit raptorman up on facebook, he helped me modd a current design i had. to be clear its not his work so if the design fails. its on meanywhere heres what we came up withremovable ports to adjust the tuning. LOL and actually i could fill in the back ports and make a 4th order if it doesnt work as a 6th. including the removable rear port its 58.5 D x 24.5 H x 48 W. bottom /front chamber is 16 cu ft 240 sq of port tuned to 53 hz. Rear / top chamber is 8 cu ft with 60 sq of port tuned to 28hz, Thoughts?
Triticum Agricolam
Why such low port area for the rear chamber? nocturnalrites101
Why such low port area for the rear chamber? to gain port velocity i beleave . everyone who ever tought about 6th order series tuned always said keep the rear port between 6-8 sq of port to 1 cu ft for the rear chamber. maybe raptor man can get into detail of while
nocturnalrites101
port velocity is important. iirc even though its a ported box steves box is a very low port area. something like 6. to 1 maybe less
Triticum Agricolam
Port velocity certainly is important. Important that it is kept low. I'm not trying to call anyone out on anything, but when I see port area intentionally undersized it makes me seriously question what that person is trying to do.
