Ive seen screwed up ground messes already that go away as soon as the dang antenna is unplugged.. so am i unplugging the the am/fm wire from the headunit? The antenna outer shield is ground/shielded, the inner tiny plug of it is the actual signal. Typically if you have noise, and unplug the radio antenna and said noise goes away it typically means the radios ground inside the wiring harness is not good or a poor connection.
