igot80hd Posted February 10, 2016 Report Posted February 10, 2016 so im planning to redesign a new box but im not sure what port type would sound better, all will be sub up port back but i dont know whether to do a bottom slot port, center slot port, or aero port or port's. in a suv... gonna be a daily pounder so i also dont know a good tuning frequency or box size for decaf type songs and normal songs, but i will be doin some some sound comps. any help is appreciated.

Joe X Posted February 10, 2016 Report Posted February 10, 2016 Round ports can definitely save space but a big enough slot port can work perfectly fine, which drivers, max dims for a box are useful to know to answer your question.
igot80hd Posted February 10, 2016 Author Report Posted February 10, 2016 2 soundqubed hdc3 15s is what I'm using Max space for a box is 40 wide, 20 or 23 high and 26 deep, in the back of a 96 jeep grand Cherokee. I got a guy to build a box for me but we are still going over what design I want for musical and able to meter. I got a big ass 32hz tuned box now but it's not pretty nor fits in my truck the way I want
