Cwallaker
Welp... something went haywire with my kappa 120.9 subs again .. same problem as the last time . Sub produces bass but has a rattling sound coming from both subs . Even at low volume . So I'm wanting to go another direction. I'd like some sugestions for a 12 in sub , well 2 of them that would work best in a sealed enclosure that is 1.47 cu ft . They will be powered by a fosgate p1000Bd . Cwallaker
Budget?Depends . $200 each seems reasonable . Not trying to compete with them . I just want them loud, and clean !
RainStryke
That's a very small enclosure for 2 12's. You would probably benefit more from shallow mount subs. ShadeTreeMechanic
At first I thought it was 1.4 each. Two in 1.4? Maybe one. Two tens might work two 8s would slam. (as much as 2 8s can slam) Maybe try a passive radiator? Maybe 2 12s in a isobaric clam shell? This volume must make the Q of the enclosure very high. I bet the mid bass is awesome. 91 C350 Centurion conversion ( Four Door One Ton Bronco) 250A Alternator (Second Alternator Coming Soon) G65 AGM Up Front / Two G31 AGM in Back Pioneer 80PRS CT Sounds AT125.2 / CT Sounds 6.5 Strato Pro component Front Stage CT Sounds AT125.2 / Lanzar Pro 8" coax w/compression horn tweeter Rear Fill FSD 5000D 1/2 ohm (SoundQubed 7k Coming Soon) Two HDS315 Four Qubes Each 34hz (Two HDC3.118 and New Box Coming Soon)
Triticum Agricolam
Is that box 1.47 cu ft for each sub, or 1.47 cu ft total? Triticum Agricolam
Ah, with 1.47 each sub there are LOTS of 12" that will work decently in your box. This would probably be my first choice: https://www.parts-express.com/dayton-audio-rss315ho-44-12-reference-ho-dvc-subwoofer--295-467 "Nothing prevents people from knowing the truth more than the belief they already know it.""Making bass is easy, making music is the hard part."Builds:
Cwallaker
Ah, with 1.47 each sub there are LOTS of 12" that will work decently in your box. I looked at those . In the specs it lists the recomended sealed volume at .49? Seemed pretty small . These are in the running for sure This would probably be my first choice: https://www.parts-express.com/dayton-audio-rss315ho-44-12-reference-ho-dvc-subwoofer--295-
