Buying (2) Odyssey Pc1500dt Tomorrow

Recommended Posts

I am about to order two identical bats, one to replace stock and one for the rear

look at sig for equipment

im trying to figure out which would be the best choice for a daily driver, keeping in mind:

1) the lawsuit againt kinetik from powermaster

2) d1200 is $50 cheaper

Dude his one is much better!!!

But back to the batt topic, its gonna come down to the money you have to spend....

Batcap 2000's FTW

I'd still hit but the other was better

I've only dealt with Kinetik and Optima so my vote goes for kinetik. I guess it really comes down to price if they have similar ratings

I dont understand why a lawsuit would make you decide which battery to buy. Sorry though cant tell you which one to buy. I myself would go for the cheaper one

if you heard that Honda lied about its gas mileage #'s and they dont get as good of gas mileage as they say... wouldnt that make you question ur purchase.. its not going to stop me.... just want to get the best battery out of the two

pm 1200

- max 1200a

- 44 ah

- $150

or

khc1400

- max 1500a

- 60 ah

- $210

so will the powermaster be enough?

or should i spend a little more to have more room to expand (not likely tho, got a new baby! :D )

1400 is what I would buy...$60 more and you get 16 more ah and 300 more amps.

edit: either way your getting a good product.

First off the lawsuit is only for advertised capability of the 16v batteries. I personally love my Kinetiks and would never even think about changing them. Powermaster makes a great product, i have installed several of their alternators so there is no brand bias here. The fact remains that kinetiks are used in some of the loudest vehicles on the planet, at that level of competition if there was a good reason to shy away from them those competitors would not be using them. Both powermaster and kinetik are hands down better than most other brands like optima, you will be very happy with either one but my vote goes to the HC1400 (or 1800!)
