Ok so I use the 12v websites calculator and I have a question... I put the numbers in for the port size, when I get the total say 6.54... Ok so now if I do 2 ports one on each side of the box "4 subs" would I split that number between both or would I leave it and do that on both sides? Also.. Do you HAVE TO split the box if you do 2 ports?? If you don't what Happens, anything?

Last question, if I do split that, can some one tell me what I would cut each site at lol I'm not good with numbers like that. 6 27/50th???

Port size is based on box volume only. If you split the box then your ports have to be longer. The benefit of having a single chamber is that the port length will be more reasonable. How many and what kind of subs are you putting in 2.78 cuft?

Their 4 skar ma-8s, if I don't split the box and use 2 ports, the ports are both less then a inch n half.. On each side, tunes to 39 hz the total length is 2.31 inches

If your port is only 2.31" long you don't have anywhere near enough port area.

So you want to tune to 39 Hz right? How much power are you goin to be running?

Do you have any plans to ever run more power than that?

With a port that small you might as well make it a sealed box. For maximum output you will need a slot port or some type of flared aero port. With a small box like that, the correct port will have a hard time fitting because it will be so long. It will be a compromise for sure.

Yeah I do, I was told that this amp would be plenty for 4 of them.. Then I get it and realize it's not.. I'll get a bigger amp and make sure it'll handle half ohm
