banginAltima
I know this is by no means a big build like the others on here. But this is only the second box that I have ever built by myself (shhh... don't tell the guy paying me to do this). The plan... 6 cubic feet box 39 inches wide 17 inches tall 23 inches deep Four 4 inch pvc ports 16 inches long Tuned to 35Hz The vehicle. 2006 Dodge Magnum 5.7 Hemi The space to work with. The equipment Two Kicker L5 15's One Sundown 3000 (wonder how long the Kickers are going to last with this amp??) Stay tuned for more updates later... If you build it, db's will come... NSPL World Record Holder Trunk 0-1800 watts---147.9 with 1722 clamped watts @ 40Hz(9-20-09). Competition Only Record Holder Trunk 0-500 watts---148.1 2006 Nissan Altima 3.5 SE Currently Rebuilding.... My 150db Plus Trunk Build I do box designs. banginAltima
Project Magnum continuation... My ummm future shop. I drew out all the cut lines of the box leaving a 1/4 inch or more gap between all the pieces. I really wasn't concerned with accurate cuts so it only took about 5 minutes to cut all the pieces. Sorry I didn't take a picture of the MDF before I started cutting. This is what I ended up with... Since I was going to be doing this by myself, I marked all my lines, predrilled and prescrew the box before appling the adhesive. This is what a ended up with. If you build it, db's will come...
