Wire guage size

3 and 3/0 are different. When it is in that size, I was told it is pronounced like, ott. Welding wire sizes. And to post a picture. Get a link of it, and click the little picture in the post, where you adjust size and font.

Is 3/0 bigger? Better then 1/0 or 00

3/0 = 000, 2/0 = 00, 1/0 = 0

3/0 is bigger than 1/0

Is 3/0 bigger? Better then 1/0 or 00

yes, 3/0 is bigger than 3. It starts at higher numbers, which are smaller thickness. So like 10-16ga is speaker wire. 8ga is sub wire, and 2ga or thicker is power wire. Once it reaches 1 or 0, then it starts going back up but with a /0 after it. So 1/0, 2/0, 4/0, much thicker wires. I believe, 1/0 and 00 are the same, I think, not 100% on that.
