Micheal Philip McKay
So I will be getting 2 DC Audio 1.2k Amps and I know you can run them strapped. I know you need the regular RCA for them, but what is the other cable I need? People have called it a link rca or jumper rca? IF anyone can help me find a good one to use or explain what it's actually called, would help greatly. Thank you
audiofanaticz
Its just a normal rca cord but you just need to use 1 side (left or right) of it, sometimes you can find them or order them as singles but there is nothing special about it. Most rca cables are made with 2 plugs at each end, a left and a right. However you only need a single channel cable (no left and right channel). You can typically find them as 4 channel, 2 channel or 1 channel. You need a 1 channel (or a 2 channel and you remove the 2nd channel or just not use it). You could buy something like these 3 foot SMD rca cables that are 2 channels, and then cut the white labels off that say SMD on them and have two 1 channel cables. The white labels are the only thing holding the 2 channels together. Just make sure what ever you buy that you get the correct length that will reach from one amp to the other which not much extra cable. http://www.wccaraudio.com/smd-rca-se-single-ended-3-foot.html
