Ive had a memphis mc1000d for about 2 yrs now never even taken out of the box and decided to throw it in my car.. Looking for a nice daily driver that obviously will give me alot of output.. My last system i had in this car ( 96 grand am ) was a 12w7 and jl 1000/1 that did a 143-144 off tones and music.. Nothing really changed ... I know this next setup wont be the quality sound ( im assuming ) as what i had but this is what im thinking... 2 10 or 12 dc lvl 3's 2 10 or 12 fi ssd's or 1 15 lvl 4 1 fi bl 15 Anything at this point is going to be a big help to me .. I want to get these ordered this week and in asap.. I know its not much ( especially in smd ) but y no ssd's or bl?? just not enough power? techaninna Posted April 21, 2008 Report Share Posted April 21, 2008 (edited) I am running two 12 DC lvl3's off a SAZ1500d and its loud and clean. Using a DMM i set the amp to 31.6 volts about 1000 watts to "break subs in". and it sound good then I set the amp to 1500 and it got down. Loud and clean IMO. What are they going in? DRAMAQUEEN Posted April 21, 2008 Author Report Share Posted April 21, 2008 yea ive had pretty good luck w numbers in my grand am ( for a trunk car ) The only sub i was disappointed with was my re sx off ( my second ) mc1000d thati sold .. and did a 140.4 , and thats when the re hype was getting going so i bought one tried it out and it was destroyed in every way to a w7 .. so i just dont wanna fall into the bandwagon hype again and get something that will actually give some nice numbers and sound.. I cant find the post but If I remember right he gave his approval and he is a no BS guy. If he didn't like it he would have said so.
