Are you going to use just them or are you adding a tweeter to them as well?

You can use a simple 2 way crossover and not use the high side. I have these speakers in my doors and they give you a real tight midbass.

You can get a 2 way here.

not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)

Need to know what you expect from them? Are you planning on running them as midbasses? If so you will need a pass band crossover to run them from say 80 hz to 350 hz. You don't want to run them very high.

You can purchase crossovers prefab or make your own for very cheap with parts fro radioschack, Fry's, etc.

you ever tried the 6" ones? i have 16 of them, 8 per door, and im hoping when i get them glassed in and all, ill have some decent midbass. i chose these over Eminence or other PA speakers, becuase these should have some midbass.

I have the 6W4P in my front doors along with tweeters in the pillars. I wouldn't run these 6's as full range, I think anything over 10khz would be a little much for them

The range of the 6w4p speaker is from 80hz to 9khz so you will want to find a x-over that best matches the range of that speaker
