Jextel
I plan on running 2 of these in the back of my maxima and was wondering what crossover to use with them? can i use some cheapo bass blockers that good up to 6.5khz? http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cf...tnumber=264-424 Quote http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3042878TEAM DEADLY HERTZ "GET LOUD OR DIE TRYIN"only the loudest will survive. kingsuv
Are you going to use just them or are you adding a tweeter to them as well? You can use a simple 2 way crossover and not use the high side. I have these speakers in my doors and they give you a real tight midbass. You can get a 2 way here. http://www.partsexpress.com/webpage.cfm?we...ectGroup_ID=193 Quote Designing, building, and shipping boxes. Yahoo IM - kingsuv00If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out. not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.
ptcary
Need to know what you expect from them? Are you planning on running them as midbasses? If so you will need a pass band crossover to run them from say 80 hz to 350 hz. You don't want to run them very high. You can purchase crossovers prefab or make your own for very cheap with parts fro radioschack, Fry's, etc. Quote PTCary 2003 SMD PT Cruiser 2011 Honda CBR 250R 2010 Mazda 3i Sport MY BUILD LOG

I have the 6W4P in my front doors along with tweeters in the pillars. I wouldn't run these 6's as full range, I think anything over 10khz would be a little much for them Quote Designing, building, and shipping boxes. kingsuv
can i use these?http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cf...tnumber=266-140 The range of the 6w4p speaker is from 80hz to 9khz so you will want to find a x-over that best matches the range of that speaker Quote Designing, building, and shipping boxes.
