Need help with enclosure design

Hi guys, I really need some help in designing a 3.5 - 3.7ft^3 slot port enclosure for my Son's car. The subs are 2 JBL GT3 12" & max width is 36" max height is 16" & depth isn't an issue & he wants the slot port in the centre with the subs either side of it & tuned to 32-33Hz. I would have been ok if he wanted tube ports but I am getting lost with the maths trying to work it out for a slot port

So here is a something very close to what you show (which would work in a trunk car), use it to build or to check your calculations, power: to subs rated, amp subsonic filter to 28Hz, minimum port clearance 3 1/2", figure is just an assembly guide:

NOTE: If building outside you need to build a cardboard dummy box to test fit in it's way inside.

Thank you very much for all your help Joe X you have helped save me from a few more grey hairs or from going bald from pulling my hair out haha. Just need some fair weather now to get it all cut & built
