When the towers are fed 300 watts, each tweeter is getting 150 watts, while each woofer is only getting 18 watts. . .I have not done the math, but they are balanced. Current system: 1997 Blazer - (4) Customer Fi NEO subs with (8) American Bass Elite 2800.1s Previous systems: 2000 Suburban - (4) BTL 15's and (4) IA 40.1's = 157.7 dB at 37 Hz. 1992 Astro Van - (6) BTL 15's and (6) IA 40.1's = 159.7 dB at 43 Hz. I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy. MACnonsence6 Posted January 25, 2011 Report Share Posted January 25, 2011 teach me your ways please. i wana build a pair of 3 way towers using 4-8" woofers 2-5" mids and a single tweater but idk how to build an x-over or how to figure out how large the box needs to be. how do you figure out the box that those drivers function well in? again just wow that is sexy i wants I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today. This thing sounds amazing. 130 watts, 12" woofer with a passive 12" woofer tuned to 27 hz. Moving the pictures on the walls and my girl got wet from the bass when i showed her haha.
