Box Question on port location

Vehicle 2013 Kia soul

I have a Kicker L5 that was given to me and My max dims are 22 tall x 36 wide x 17 deep.

with these dims the sub up port back will be choked would it be ok to to sub up port up. port is 1 - 8" tube 15" long. I like symmetrical but this looks to be my only option. Sub will be powered by a ZED Autotek BTS7300 old school amp mid 1990s wired to 2 ohm.

Sub up, port up will probably be fine.

One thing that jumps out at me, a 15" long port probably won't be long enough to tune you where you want to he, it depends on how much internal volume you want though. Those subs like big boxes.

i redid the design and found that 2 6" ports about 16 long with 1" sticking outside the face will give me what I need. it will be tuned to 34 htz and will be 5.6 cubes after port and sub displacement

That also gives me the symmetrical look i like. hope to start on it after all the rain.

also does anyone have a wiring guide for a 2013 kia soul+ I dont have the upgraded system.
