308power Posted April 21, 2016 Report Posted April 21, 2016 Hello everyone. I have recently purchased my first SUV (2 door tahoe) and can finally install a system like I would like to. The largest set up I have had so far was 2 12 inch l7s in a cheap Qbomb due to car space, but this is no longer a problem. The largest dimensions I have to comfortably work with is 48 wide, 26 deep, and 22 high. For electrical I have big 3, a 160 amp alt and an xspower d3400, and for my amp I have an aq2200.2d. I am open to whatever direction subs and port have been shown to be the loudest direction in tahoes I like to listen to rap, edm, dubstep, decaf, but I do listen to the radio on occasion (20%ish?) of the time. Thinking of tuning around 32hz but I have heard this is low for the soundcubed street series: with this in mind, I chose these woofers in the 15" size as the best bang for buck kind of deal due to a 400$ woofer budget but this could be stretched slightly. I would be glad to receive any information on the topic: and I am open to other woofer suggestions from those with more experience in the area. Thank you in advance. -Pierce

As I am able to slowly able to move to bigger builds, hopefully i can start to be able to help others. Joe X, you are the man! That design looks awesome, This may be a dumb question, but when centering the subwoofers location on the top of the box, Do I center it in the middle of the panel to look even from the outside, or do I center It after subtracting the 5 inches of port width from the back wall from the port extension so it is more "centered" inside? Or I may just be overthinking all of this, Thanks again guys
