I recommend you do these steps, in this order, before you continue any further.

1) figure out exactly how much maximum power you want to run. I personally don't agree with pushing more than RMS to any speaker. Yes, it can be done, people do it all of the time, and it's the same people constantly doing recones a few months down the road too.

2) don't buy the amp(s) that give you the power you want to run. Instead, find a company that makes a H.O. Alt for your car. Check with DC Power Inc, Mechman, Singer, JS ultimate, US alternators. For 1500RMS to each sub (3k total) plus stock electronics (80-90A) and whatever you have going for mids and highs (we'll say another 80 amps) you're going to want a 270A alt at a minimum in my opinion, plus a decent sized battery or two in the rear. I vote one battery, others will say add more.

3) buy electrical upgrades

4) buy amplifier and wiring needed, and enjoy

Yea i usually stay under the rms just cause i dont want to over work the speakers. But thank you for the insight. Ima do some research on the stock electrical and go from there with what you said.

He's got what we consider an exotic car. Most companies dont make HO alts for them.

He's going to spend more money trying to solve his electrical problems. IMO he should just downgrade and dont open this can of worms.

Obviously he didn't know 2 dual 2ohms woofer will send an amp to .5

BTW- I rock with Hifonics all day. Brutus line only but you got to know you stuff when dealing with theses amps. They are a budget line but if you're a NOOB and don't know how to properly set gains, install proper electrical, etc then yes these amps are going to give you problems.
