First build, Need advice

are you going to be setting this box directly onto the seat cushion? if so i would take the bottom and back of the rear seat completely out and then re-measure. i bet you would have enough room if you did that.

yes now it is on the seats but assuming that somone says thats enough room i wouldnt mind removing the seats backs and bottoms, it would add about 2 inches in depth and height

You do not have enough space to run four 12" Alpine Type R's.

Your subs have a minimum recommended 1.38FT³ net space per sub, that's over 5.5FT³ of net space needed and you only have 4.6FT³ and that's gross space, not net. Seems like you should be running no more than 3 of those 12's with the space you have. I would actually suggest a properly built box and only 2 of those 12's with the space you have, because 3 would still be cutting it close.

If you don't have the tools or means to build a box, I'd suggest looking into something like this:

That guy builds those boxes, so he can make adjustments to it to fit the measurements you have.

with the messurements i gave how are you getting 4.6 i got 9.3Ft and assumed taking displacement and bracing i shuold have plenty

I realize I got the measurements wrong now. Not really sure how I got them wrong, but it seems the box calculator on the12volt says you have 8.8FT³ to work with.

Anyway, your enclosure is what needs attention first... I would still consider moving down to two subs, one amplifier and fitting them into the trunk until you have more experience.

Try this. If you are dead set on running all 4 subs then this is about all you're gonna get out of the measurements you gave. it comes out to 5ft^3 after port displacement and tuned to around 36hz.

Wow, i appriciate that, thats alot of dedication to a noob like me to go through the trouble to make this. is it all with 3/4in? front and back look to be doubled up as well. iv spent 15 min looking it over to make sure id know all the measurments are there but im sure i could do that with how easy you made the measuring as long as i take my time . I would just have to take your word for the tuning and volume with the way it is, Also would it be strudy or would it need bracing on the front.

No problem man. And yes it's all 3/4" and the baffle and back wall are doubled, you should also consider putting a couple supports in the port just for good measure as well. as far as the volume goes it comes out to almost exactly 5ft^3.You may have to play around with the tuning tho, there aren't many good port length calculators out there that are super accurate but it should be pretty close at least.

Unfortunately the weekend has already came to a abrupt close since i have stuff to do most of today, but ill make this a few hours a day thoughout the week. and will try to get some pics up by next weekend.probably going to take me 2 days to clean my garage, iv just been tossing stuff randomly at the end of each job all month, missing half my sockets wrenches and everything else all endsup in a bucket at night when i dont feel like putting them in the right place and just wanna go to bed. i might just leave it bare wood or go with just a flat black paint. iv never been any good at carpeting boxes or wrapping presents

Just thought of this if its being built inside to the maximum area in the back how do you securly screw/nail all the sides together or just a bunch of L brackets? or maybe 1x1's inside the joints?

Ummmm good question lol. maybe build some support brackets from the back of the box to the rear deck lid if possible, or maybe from the sides out into the inner body plates.

i would remove the seat bottom at the very least so you can bolt that big ass box down. that could kill someone if in an accident.
