J_west07
I've got a 2004 Mitsubishi eclipse. I've removed the rear seats and that's where the subs will be. I just got done putting 3/4" plywood in the rear floor cuz ill have 4 crescendo logic hpl75's back there. Trying to get some ideas on a amp rack for a crescendo encore 4.5k. this is what I'm working with and yes it will all be carpeted when finished
RooTxBeeR
The rear seats are completely removed? So will you be walling it off? How will the box for the subs be inside. J_west07
Yeah I just have the rear seats laid in there but they are loose so I can put second skin all down there.yes eventually it will be walled with 2 18" subs. I'm using the cargo area for the batteries and amps. Just trying to get some ideas. might make the rack over the batteries.

RooTxBeeR
If it is like the pic in your last post, I would just mount them to the box directly, in the front or back doesn't really matter. Just remember, if you mount in the back, if they are within view of the window, I would worry about the sun beating directly on then while pounding, could possibly create some heating issues. In my car my box sits behind my rear seats inbetween them and the hatch, since the seats sit slanted, there is a triangle of space behind the seat, inbetween that and the box. So I mounted the amps to a sheeet of wood and set that inbetween the two. If you get what I am saying. If you get PC fans just make sure they are rated for a 12v source. If you get some that run of different voltages they will not work or even fry, I have done it just messing around.
