Nightshade
Sundown Audio Zv4 or Nightshade V3 will handle what you are suggesting. If it is solid electrical and clean power you may even be able to run the Sundown X series. I run a single X15 off of a Sundown scv2000d at .5 ohms that makes around 2300 watts RMS and it handles it fine. I had my enclosure tuned to 34hz, but that was too low for my liking and I raised the tuning to 36hz and love it much more now. The Sundown subs are SQL subs and get very very loud and will play very very low. They are a perfect low frequency daily monster. 2013 VW Jetta GLI 2.0 Turbo 1 Sundown Audio SCV2000 1 Sundown Audio X15 V2 1 XS Power D3100 Audio Control LC6i Stock Deck 146.4 sealed on the dash at 37hz 2001 Focus ZX3: RETIRED Team Sundown Audio, Team XS Power, 2 time NSPL Car 3601-Up Champion, 2 time NSPL Car Hardcore ChampionHighest NSPL Scores to date:154.3db on the dash sealed at 46hz, 156.2db in the kick at 46hz155.2db unofficial on dash at 43hz
Mariothadon
Sundown x 12 only takes 1500 rms tho... that would be 3000 rms with 2 of them...
Nightshade
Sundown x 12 only takes 1500 rms tho... that would be 3000 rms with 2 of them... The amount of power that is reccomended and what the sub can actually take are two different things. I have always given my subs more power than RMS and watched them so they do not catch fire or blow the coils. I ran a saz3500 at .5 ohms to 2 Sundown sa12's that have an RMS of 600 watts. They were seeing approximately around 2K watts RMS per sub and I never once had an issue with them. You have to be responsible and know the limits of your setup.
DLHgn
The B2 Audio HN12v2 is rated for 1500 w RMS but could easily take 2500 w. It's SQ and SPL
