TezasBassBox Posted June 27, 2016 Report Posted June 27, 2016 Trust subs down and port forward Subs don't hit when powered by cheap amps!
ckeeler11 Posted June 27, 2016 Report Posted June 27, 2016 What are specs on your current box? premade or did you build it?

DLHgn Posted June 27, 2016 Report Posted June 27, 2016 Box is 45 w. 24 d. 20 h. 33.5 hz tuned and 138 aq in. Of port and i did build it outta birch maybe i should try the mdf to see how that sounds The wood type probably isn't the cause. It is most likely your design. Baltic Birch is very strong and light weight but it is more expensive than mdf
ckeeler11 Posted June 27, 2016 Report Posted June 27, 2016 It might be your box. I'm getting around 5.5 net before any bracing. if you add in your bracing most likely you will be closer to 5, little small for those speakers. That is also assuming you used 3/4" and double baffle.
d-nice88 Posted June 28, 2016 Author Report Posted June 28, 2016 Anyone have a box design that is a lil bit bigger ? I can go bigger on the width and the height but not the depth
d-nice88 Posted June 28, 2016 Author Report Posted June 28, 2016 Also i was told that it was 8 cu ft. After displacement and bracing using 1 1/4 dowle rods
ckeeler11 Posted June 28, 2016 Report Posted June 28, 2016 21" H x 47" W x 24" D will get you close to 8.0 cu.ft. with same port area.
