robertdbardos Posted June 26, 2016 Report Posted June 26, 2016 Ok so I have a planet audio 10 fared capacitor along with a 1400 kinetic battery I have a saz-3500 on two sa 12 sundowns should I be using my cap or just the battery by itself
Bayuk89 Posted June 29, 2016 Report Posted June 29, 2016 If its a 10 farad planet audio its prolly only a 3 farad for real.... Ditch the capacitor and just run batteries. people that run caps are likely running super caps but its a way different ballpark.
Bayuk89 Posted June 29, 2016 Report Posted June 29, 2016 if ur running a single battery on a stock alt its prolly not enough to keep up with the amps demand... Buy another kenetic battery and run it in place of your capacitor, your amp will thank you.
robertdbardos Posted July 6, 2016 Author Report Posted July 6, 2016 Ok so im running my stock alt 140 amp a stock battery and my kinetic i took out the cap and i have no light dimming. So are yall saying to get another kinetic or would i be good with the one?
SkarredSierra Posted July 6, 2016 Report Posted July 6, 2016 Get the biggest kinetik you can fit under the hood and replace your stock batt with it. Or any agm that will fit your stock location.
Jessica Posted July 6, 2016 Report Posted July 6, 2016 Um, a 3500 on 2 sa's? What are you wired at? Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside. Broke_Audio_Addict Posted July 6, 2016 Report Posted July 6, 2016 Um, a 3500 on 2 sa's? What are you wired at? Was thinking the same thing. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
SGTSKIP Posted July 9, 2016 Report Posted July 9, 2016 Wow. do they even make Caps anymore? Not straight from China....... Does this smell funny to you? Its your sister
