Then you need 3400 under the hood. Same thing my silverado calls for and has

there on the list thanks now will the mechman 370 elite be ok by itself or am i gonna need two or three alts.

All depends on the amps you end up with

ok well the one will be better then stock so i'll start their and my main wires.

i got two stock alts and a guy in town who can upgrade them to about 240 amps each who knows were to buy the bracket in order for me to install two alts in my 1996 chevy tahoe? as well as a belt for it.

I would get an ho alt from DC, singer or usalternator.

He may be able to upgrade stocks but the idle output might still be crap

You can also try checking out mechman. I've heard that they make good alts. As for the dual. I would go for a single for now with your setup. If you decide to add more subs and amps and need more power, you can go from there. You would rather have one really good alt than two meh alts.

thanks for the input everyone i will be adding more in the months to come just to start im getting two subs and two amps that will be done by the end of the year i think ill just save up for the mechman alt 370 amp instead of the two i checked on all the idl outputs between stock rebuilt and the mech man. i like where my moneys going with the mech man.
