doug118
My loading wall in my wall is 5" thick and port is 29.5" x 13". I'm wanting to add 6" PVC cut in half to the port opening to give it a nice round over but don't want it to look like I just stuck a piece of pipe on there. I'm not opposed to using wood if there's an easy way to make a 6" roundover. Any advice is greatly appreciated Picture of box for reference (still to add a sheet of 3/4" to the front 2001 Tahoe. Triticum Agricolam
With kerfing you can bend 3/4" MDF to a 3" or less radius. That will accomplish the same thing as PVC and may be easier to blend in with the rest of your box. bman8891
Hes right. Mdf will make that bend you can do the face and kerf in one piece for each side. You may want to practice on some scraps it took me several tries my first time. Make sure to cut deep enough I only leave about 1/16"
doug118
That's a really good idea to use the kerfed wood as the front layer but the front layer is glassed into the truck, and the box is being bolted to it 2001 Tahoe.
