Ok. Be careful not to send a dirty signal to the speaker. That will kill the speaker very fast. I would honestly wait until you get your new one to really start putting power to your setup.

just wire in series and you will be fine

I got a 2 ohm car sub, (dual jl audio 12w0v3) and a 4 ohm home cinema subwoofer amp. If i hook these up together, what gets damaged the speaker of the amp? i couldnt care if the amp blows just worried about the speaker

I'm guessing you have this:

So remove the subs and wire them in series to 8 ohm, very simple as the subs are SVC, no need to guess what's going to blow first.
