Sundown X Box Design

Was wondering if Joex can design me a single 12" ported box tuned to 32 hertz thats 2.5 net volume. Will be powered buy a Sundown 2000D amp at 1ohm. Is there any benefit going bigger box or is this the perfect size? Dimensions are 13.5H 35W 17D. If you dont use all that space could you cut down on the width. And if those dimensions are too small let me know. I wanted to make it look like its flush within the car and have a face plate over it so it looks stock.

Not big enough, with those dimensions can only tune down to 46 or so and keep 2.5 net.

Thanks JoeX. Just wanna clear things up this box has 46.5 sq of port area? Also will a ZV5 work with this box? kind of debating on either a single 12 X or 12 ZV5

The box above is 40 1/2 square inches of port area, it seems that sundown suggests about the same box specs for both drivers, they don't list t/s parameters yet for the zv5, it would be great if they did as it would allow me to better understand their differences.

How will this box do on higher notes. Ill give you a example of a song. Future- Stick Talk. Which would you personally do X or XV5

The ported enclosure system doesn't limit higher bass (like bandpass boxes do) so you should get everything but the X markedly boosts low notes (in the suggested Sundown alignments ) and those will play louder, some people like the SA series better but most is the setup, vehicle acoustics, box placement, crossover points, etc, you need to work a lot on your setup for it to play as you want, usually a front stage with strong midbass can help you a lot. Zv5 is still a new driver, hopefully they list t/s soon.
