I'm mainly going to be using it for cutting the speaker holes. I mean I'd like to do some round over work, but I'm not going to die if I don't. Jhunt94 Posted September 15, 2016 Report Share Posted September 15, 2016 no the router table isn't necessary, and you can do the roundovers without the use of the table. The only thing I would say to watch out for with doing router work by hand, is to make sure you feed the router against the rotation of the bit. If you try and feed it with the rotation, it can try to run away from you (just like a circular saw). 2007 Ford F-150 Reg. Cab. It's one of those tools that you will know when you need it. If you haven't seen them already Mark at Car Audio Fabrication on YouTube has a lot of good videos on box building.
