ayoparky Posted September 17, 2016 Report Posted September 17, 2016 Hi, im in the process of upgrading my entire car stereo system. My current system is as follows. 2 12 inch rockford fosgate d1200 subs. 2 kicker coaxials ks-654cs in rear doors, 2 cdt audio 62.2 ex components up front. Alpine cde-265bt head unit. One rockford fosgate 1200 watt monoblock amp, i nvx jad 800 4 channel amp. I singer 220 amp alternator, 1 xs power d1200 battery. Now this system is changing as I said. From what ive listed above, the only things im keeping are the nvx amp, the cdt comps, the xspower battery, and the singer alternator. Im gonna be adding a platform 3 3000 watt psi 18 inch subwoofer, undecided on amp so far, but looking at sundown audio, ctsounds and twisted sounds for my amp. Im also gonna be adding an xs power xp2000 supplementary battery. Now, ive had the cdt audio comps for about a month, they are pretty good but i just find them kinda lacking...especially when i really feed them some power. So....i really want to look at a different set of components. I tend to stray towards the sq side of things for my audio components, but Im also looking for something two ohm stable putting out 150-200 watts rms. My budget is preferably under 400.00. Anyone have some suggestions to help me out.If it matters i plan on eliminating the back door speakers altogether and then custom fabbing my front doors to support to sets of 6.5's
