Need help building a ported box for a single sundown zv3 12

was going to do a trunk build on 2 sa 12s which i still have , - currently running one OR a trunk build on a single zv3 15

but the guy who was going to do the build turned out to be unreliable and it will never happen.

so i have no choice i have to scrap the trunk build plans and build a box and slide it into my small ass trunk (its really the trunk opening that is the problem not so much the trunk itself)

I aimed for getting the best sub for the power i have so I ended up buying a zv3 12 d2 and will be running it on 2000-2200 rms @ 1ohm

so i need help with building an enclosure

my max height is 13.5 to 14 inches

max width would be like 28-32

max width would be around 14-16

sundown recommends no more than 2 cubes NET tuned to 35hz

i am aiming for hitting the widest frequency band possible while still being super loud...

i have music thats in the low 40s all the way up to the mid/high 50s , and of course there are some songs/parts of songs that dip into the 20s and 30s too.

any designs and help would be highly appreciated.

Right just a few questions are you wanting sub rear port rear? and i would tune around 33hz should give you a nice bandwidth according to sundown they recommend 32hz tuning.

ya i saw those recommendations but u know how sometimes the manufacture has its recommendation but then individuals fool around and tweak stuff and find that other dimensions work out way better.. if someone has done this and found going a little smaller or bigger or tuning a lil higher works out better than their recommendation then pls let me know.. or if their recommendation is spot on then let me know too.. im not sure how accurate sundown is with their box specs and recommendations.. i know some other companies are off/way off and going bigger/smaller than what they suggest works out way better.

Yeah its under your max dimensions box is Height = 14 Width = 31 and Depth = 16 if you do go ahead and build it make a template with cardboard before you build it to make sure it fits in your trunk.

Also what car is it going in?

Will post it ASAP just finishing it off in sketchup now.

its going into a genesis coupe. the depth is 16 WITH double baffle right?
