Crazy For Hertz Posted April 24, 2008 Report Share Posted April 24, 2008 i have notice that my batt in my trunk was at 11volt but the 1 under hood was at 12.5 so what can i do to fix dat also with the car runing my alt is only puting out 13.5 but when i disconnet my 4ga wire runing to my batt out back the volts go up to 14.5 so what can i do so that my volts stay the same .also im runing my deck,eq,1 audiobahn a2200 hct,1fockfordfosgate punch 800.4 tv tuner,7" tv,dvdplayer,ipod controler,ps2,power inverter, all of that is ran off my batt in my trunk.also which is better to have more volt or amps or both Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You do need to upgrade the power wire to the back battery and do the big three next. If you are still having voltage drop between the batteries then it is time for a HO alt. What kind of batteries are you using, are they atleast the same type (AGM style). Batteries don't have to be the same but it helps keep them evenly charged.
