Need a good 3k amp i wouldnt anyway, 2 12's on the same power will move more air because more cone area. Also more coil to distribute the heat, so on and so forth. If its an old school amp make sure its stable to 1 ohm before you buy another sub. Thanks for the info! I just looked it up and it only lists 2 ohm and 4 ohm stable.
