I am looking into doing a bugdet build for my son and this is one of the subs that I was looking at. Does anyone have any experience with this sub and is it a good daily sub with decent SQ?

I ran three d2 15s and had nothing but good words spl wise I ran a lot of power to them though They lack lows without the power Since sq is no longer aq the soft parts are not the same Neither are the coils If you order a new sq 12 for say it's not gonna perform like an old aq 12 They will wire together and play very similar but are not the same designs I'd suggest a ported box in a trunk or a sixth order they don't do well sealed or in fourths last build was my malibu walled on a single skar 4500 @.33 daily 6 deka g31 batts Singer 330a alt 4 runs of 3/0 front-back Three hdc3 15 Did a 154.6 this summer at Grassroots Building a 99 yukon denali atm ? 18 from canada ontario

Will they take some abuse (within reason of course)? I will show how not to be careless with whatever we go with but also know he will be a little heavy on that bass knob from time to time when he decides to show off for his buddies.

I am in process of changing some things around in my vehicle so he will be using my old Sundown 3k. Would you suggest around 11 cubes with around 16 sq in port or is that on the small side? I am not sure where they shine as I have never heard this sub but I am leaning towards tuning it at 33-34.
