Box too big for ported 12" P3's?

Am I the only one that looks at that mock-up and sees a 4th order band pass box potentially? It would lay to rest the port controversy. I'd remove the center board, mount the subs in pairs facing the common chamber. The P3's are purdy subs but....

So an update, I spent many hours yesterday finishing the box, I wanted every seam to be flawless lol.... He got all 4 subs for $250 on craigslist along with 2 rockford amps (that should be in the 700-850rms range each), the problem is, one sub is d2, three are d4, I know, shouldn't mix, but this was a budget build with big cheap goals in mind. He (for now) is using a Lightning audio 2000md to power 2 of the subs, but will be buying a 1500w rockford amp soon to replace that one, as when adjusting the gains, the 2 subs on rockford amps were visibly moving much further, so we backed em down until he gets a higher powered amp.

So the main reason I chambered them, was to separate the d2 from the d4's, but also the fact the original plan was going to be 2 or 3 separate amps to run everything, and now it's going to remain 3 separate amps, all amps being slightly different, so it would be difficult to match them perfectly. I know its not an ideal setup to mix and match, but chambering them was clearly the best solution for what he had to work with.

Just today he got it all hooked up, and picked up a couple optima yellow tops, and I gotta say, the box works lol. The price he put into this stereo, I'm impressed. Of course as everyone knows, most of the build is a proper box, so I'm glad all my work and the money he spent on materials gets loud as can be and still sound pretty damn decent.

The box ended up being 2.5cf3 per chamber, 38.5 sq inches of port. Still need to wrap it in the near future. The box is about 1/4" from each side of his hatch area, and with his yellowtops between the seats, there was barely enough room for roughly 6.5 inches of port to hatch clearance. I'm glad my efforts didn't go to waste, now his escalade can go to waste from everything vibrating apart lol

Just to re-clarify, I wouldn't typically mix and match ohm load subs, different amps, etc etc... But we worked with what he had, and it worked! I'd guestimate (depending on how much power the lightning audio actually puts out) that the entire system is seeing around 2kw rms, can't wait to hear it closer to 2.5-3k

edit: main reason I made this post, was cause as I was plotting in win isd, looking up rockfords recommendaitons, measuring and remeasuring his hatch space, and crunching numbers and figuring things out, I didn't wanna end up spending all day and $80 building a box that failed.
