Jessica
i used to have similar issues, changed my dns to googles dns and no more issues. Not saying that is what is wrong, but its a fairly easy fix if you just google how to do it and follow the steps. Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside. audiofanaticz
Yup, like I said even if its not the issue it is wise to do because typically ISP dns servers suck and are slow compared ones such as Googles. You can use this DNS benchmark tool (you have to download it, its free and has no spyware/bloatware. https://www.grc.com/dns/benchmark.htm But you will be amazed at how slow your isp's dns server your currently using is compared to what Googles is. Sure there are faster ones that pop up on the list than Google, but they are not always as reliable.

hifonix
They are most likely under warranty from the company they bought from, so they will get one in return for the "bad" one. Under Construction
RainStryke
It depends on the company... They might re-purpose routers from cancellations. When I was in training for my ISP support rep job I was told a story of a guy that cancelled his services with the company. He switched to another company, but he didn't know they were a 3rd party company that used the same ISP he just disconnected from. When the install technician came out to put in his line, he was greeted with a shotgun and was told to get off his property. The guy didn't know he had just bought the same service he had before, just under a different entity.
