Triticum Agricolam Posted November 5, 2016 Report Posted November 5, 2016 There are definitely different schools of thought when it comes to T-line design. To save space you can taper the line. This also makes it perform like its longer than it really is, which also saves space. You don't have to make the line equal cone area either. Reducing it a bit can help smooth out the frequency response, though every sub is going to perform differently. A T-line starting with 176 sq in of area and tapering down to 88 sq in, 141" long should work well. This results in an internal volume of about 10.5 cu ft, still big but not as huge. ToNasty Posted November 5, 2016 Author Report Posted November 5, 2016 I have 10 cubes for sure I think 12 -13 is what I actuslly have because the sub will most likely need to mount inverted ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers

Triticum Agricolam Posted November 5, 2016 Report Posted November 5, 2016 Here is what I came up with: That's just a profile view. It assumes a 20.5" internal width. I was able to get a 139" long line, which is about as close as its going to get to the target of 141". These tapered lines are a pain in the ass to layout. Here is what the raw output looks like: And here is the cone excursion based on 1,000 watts of input power: With this enclosure it would take about 2,400 watts to reach xmax at the excursion peak around 30 Hz.
