I just noticed that the roof of the car where I glued the roof panels too have sucked in some.. u can't tell too much in daylight, but at nighttime, u can tell.. audiofanaticz Posted November 9, 2016 Report Posted November 9, 2016 That usually happens from using Great Stuff when you spray it all at once and trap the air inside so it has no where to go. Which is why you do small sections at once and let it cure and expand before doing another spot. Otherwise your left with soft foam that cant expand due to being air tight and you get dents from where it sucks out the air and forms a vacuum.

I didn't think about that.. then again the space was no more than 3/4 of an inch in each of those spots.. audiofanaticz Posted November 9, 2016 Report Posted November 9, 2016 You can drill through the wood where your dents are to allow air in and possibly push the roof back up with a wooden dowel or even a screw driver, then plug the holes good a couple days later once the foam is cured.

audiofanaticz Posted November 9, 2016 Report Posted November 9, 2016 Not at all, just get yourself a 1/2 ish sized spade/speed bit and make a few holes. They are typically long enough to go through several layers of wood. Just continue to check the depth your drilling so you dont go through the roof.

Chance_P Posted November 9, 2016 Report Posted November 9, 2016 I just went through this. Used the same type of bit, drilled some holes, used a coat hanger and a hack saw blade to cut the foam between the board/roof where the dents are. Give it a day or two for the metal to take its shape back, then refill with foam in those places.
