Connecting camper cap to truck cab?

Those who have connected a truck cab to a camper cap/top, how did you do so and could you post pictures if you have them? I know an accordion boot will probably be in play but would like to see what people did to have a full waterproof seal that held up over time.

We used PL3x and accordion boot between the boot and cab hole, and between the boot and bed hole. When we put the box in, it applied pressure to "clamp" the PL bonds. For piece of mind, we also foamed between the box and cab.

We still need to make a beauty panel for the front of the box, which will be bonded to the front of the box and the metal of the cab. That will see PL 8x.

Ok cool, kind of what I thought. Accordion boot with an adhesive so keep it from coming off. I'm just worried about being water tight.

Back in the early 90s you could find accordion boots everywhere. Now they are pricey as fook. I got mine from a camper shop a couple years ago.

You could use adhesive but it's going to be a fucker to take off. Mine stayed water tight for years without any glue...
