Strange soundqubed 3500 issue

A friend of mine has a q3500 amp with a strange issue. There is no output unless you press down on the circuit board.

Just by putting a little bit of pressure on the board by the LPF and other knobs, it will work fine.

I have the option of buying this amp for pretty cheap. Like $300 cheap. And was wondering if this could be a bad solder joint somewhere. Or an expensive fix.

Right now there is a rubber plug in the amp pushing the board down and it works fine, the end plate just doesn't line up with the adjusting knobs or bass remote slot.

Would you guys think the amp is worth it? To buy from him and get repaired?

If its a cold or broken solider joint then it would be an easy fix. If the board is broken or cracked then the traces would have to be repaired one at a time. If it is a multi layered board, this could be impossible to do. Its a crap shoot at best.
