williamyoon Posted December 21, 2016 Report Posted December 21, 2016 Hello. I have a Chevy Trailblazer 2003 that I'm looking to outfit with 2 Sundown SA-12s. The battery has been replaced and alternator is stock. I'm looking to run the sundowns with 2 Rockville RXD-MX4s. What alternators, batteries, and wires would I need to get?
MrSkippyJ Posted December 21, 2016 Report Posted December 21, 2016 For that amp a couple of 9v batteries is probably sufficient. F150: Stock 2019 Harley Road Glide: Amp: TM400Xad - 4 channel 400 watt Processor: DSR1 Fairing (Front) 6.5s -MMats PA601cx Lid (Rear) 6x9s - TMS69
ShadeTreeMechanic Posted December 21, 2016 Report Posted December 21, 2016 Those amps have been dynoed to show a little over 1200wrms certified. Over 3k dynamic burst at .5ohm. I have two on the shelf. Ran one at .5ohm for almost a year no problems. They are power hungry so you will want a hi output alternator and one or two batteries in the back. Get a volt meter and keep an eye on the voltage. One run of 1/0 to the back and do the "big 3". Are you going to run them strapped? 91 C350 Centurion conversion ( Four Door One Ton Bronco) 250A Alternator (Second Alternator Coming Soon) G65 AGM Up Front / Two G31 AGM in Back Pioneer 80PRS CT Sounds AT125.2 / CT Sounds 6.5 Strato Pro component Front Stage CT Sounds AT125.2 / Lanzar Pro 8" coax w/compression horn tweeter Rear Fill FSD 5000D 1/2 ohm (SoundQubed 7k Coming Soon) Two HDS315 Four Qubes Each 34hz (Two HDC3.118 and New Box Coming Soon)
