Wannabe Posted December 22, 2016 Report Posted December 22, 2016 I already ordered a head unit, I have my door speakers picked out but i Don't know if it matters if my front doors are component set with 2 6-3/4' coaxial speakers that come with 2 tweets ( I have 2 stock tweets in front doors) and my rear speakers are a different brand but still coaxial... My question is can I run mix match brands off my 4 channel and run mix match tweets (adding 2 more on dash) off my head unit?? bcbrassard Posted December 22, 2016 Report Posted December 22, 2016 Keep researching... Yes you can run tweeters off the HU but how many sets do you need? Research multiple drivers and tuning. Best sounding system can be the simplest set ups.

oldsoundguy Posted December 22, 2016 Report Posted December 22, 2016 You can run each component set off the front and rear channels of a 4 channel amp. So 1 6.75 and tweet with cross over off channel 1 front the other on channel 2 front then channel 3 and 4 for the rear speakers .
