MrSkippyJ Posted December 22, 2016 Report Share Posted December 22, 2016 If you add the battery, you will run the 1/0awg from the front battery to the back battery. You will fuse within a foot from the back battery to the fuse size recommended for 1/0, usually 300-350amp. From the back battery you then will wire to your amps. If your amps have fuses built in, you should be fine. If not, you should fuse the power wires going to the amps, again, to the recommended fuse size of that wire. You want to make sure you fuse every single power wire in the car that you add. There has been too many cases of people burning down their cars because of a improperly fused wire. just to reiterate this, every wire coming off a battery should have a fuse as close as possible to the battery. If your amps have built in fusing, you still want the power wire to the amp fused near the battery. If I put a beefy batt under the hood and got a h/o alt do you think it would be enough for 1500-1650 rms plus whatever my 4 channel with draw And what is an average price for a singer/mech man alt? Each cable has two plugs on each end, the red and white is left and right. One cable for front doors left and right. One cable for rear pillars left and right. Then one for ur sub.
