Help me determine where it starts clipping on my oscope wave

Well the thing is, when running multiple amps in common chamber enclosures you need to have them volt matched.

Even if each sub is in a different chamber its still ideal to volt match your amplifiers.

Thats why I use the DD-1 on each of the amps and set them according to the dd-1.
Then quickly probe each output of each number and mark down said voltage.
Once I know which is making the least power I go back and set the gain slightly lower than the amp  making the lowest voltage and volt match the other 3 amps to that.
Its actually fairly quick and easy to do.

I also dont strap my amps no more.
Even if I still did I would still have to voltage match the 2 strap pairs.
However strapping was a few tenths quieter on the Term-Lab, and every once in a while Id have an amp go in protect.

No protection issues when Im not strapped.

Dont forget to calculate phase angle, power factor, and subtract your amps efficiency from your numbers (usually efficiency numbers  that are listed by the company are at 4 ohms, so you would have to figure out what it is at your specific ohm load as well).
Of coarse you will need to use your o-scope as well to be sure your not clipping the amp which will make your amplifiers output seem even larger. You will also need to make sure your Clamp and Multimeter are TrueRMS as well.

But even if you still do that your number will most likely be several hundreds of watts over the actual clean output of the amplifier.
