Best way to wire a system? Which way is better

I don't think the negative run from front to back is really needed. Just a good ground up front and one in the rear.

Okay good to know. Which setup do you think is better. alt to front battery and then rear battery or alt straight to the rear battery?

No expert, but usually wI think one alternator, the alt runs to the front one

I run all my alt runs to my primary front batt and then to my bank in the back.

So pic one.

I've never ran runs directly from the alt my bank so i can't say whats better.

Interesting. That sounds like the easiest and safest method to me.  Have you had any issues at all? and how many alts and batts do you have?

1 alt

8 batts in the bank. 1 in the front.

No problems with this vehicle or the previous. Both had the same wiring setup.

Just make sure everything's fused correctly.

Okay cool! so just to make sure you went from your alt to your front battery and then your front battery to the back batteries?

also where do I fuse it? right before the front battery, right after the front battery and then right before your back battery?
