ISO
I have noticed on my old Rockford amps that the set screws are becoming hard to screw out then screw back in. These amps are not in use at the moment and all average about 10 years old. Why I am concerned is yesterday I took out my Punch 225.2 witch was in my truck for about 2 years and them set screws were tighter than hell. Has anyone ever tried useing Graphite lubricate? Graphite lubricate for those of you that don't know what it is , its used for metals to make things move easier, its actually more like a powder. I already know WD40 will not hold up over a long period of time. Does anyone know if graphite is conductive? That would be benicial for this application too. ISO
(Quote) Graphite lubricants are specialty items for use at very high or very low temperatures, as a wire die extrusion lubricant, an antiseize agent, a gear lubricant for mining machinery, and to lubricate locks. Thanks Roscoe, I think that will do the trick. Isobaric - Refers to the practice of coupling two drivers together to make them act as one.
