Blake21 Posted March 11, 2017 Author Report Posted March 11, 2017 Well gonna gut the truck tomorrow, I am thinking I will build this box I've posted as a temporary box because I plan to buy 2 more hdc3 18s in a month or 2 and then I'll work on the wall. Ive been reading up and did not realize how much work it is and I don't think I need it for 2 18s

It's 53.5" at the top, need to know if I should wall it or build the box I've posted a drawing of, I think a wall would get louder because it'll seal the entire rear of the truck but I have no idea about how to get started on a wall

These two programs will enable you to figure out what the box volume and port size need to be. Do a search here for some wall builds to see what it takes to build a wall. The walls usually need to be several layers thick because of the long unsupported sides that it takes to make a box that big. This eats up box volume and will need to be accounted for. We can help you with a box very easily but a wall is a different animal.
